Anime-style production for licensed IP

RealRain (Feiyu Culture Technology) is a commercial studio. We produce anime-style video and motion content for clients who already hold or represent the relevant IP rights.

Work is executed by our in-house team. Scheduling, reviews, and delivery artifacts run through an internal workspace we maintain—useful when a campaign needs several cuts or languages from the same master.

Give every IP a dependable way to show up on more channels

After launch, most properties still need short films, social edits, event loops, and partner packs. Our job is to make that work predictable: clear specs, a named crew, and files you can hand to legal and distribution without a second rebuild.

We are investing in in-house capacity and tooling first, paid for by client projects. Over time we expect to add original formats; for now, commissions are the product.

  • We quote on deliverables and calendars, not slide decks about “ecosystems.”
  • Notes and versions stay traceable so approvals do not restart from zero.
  • Repeat seasons with the same IP reuse look-dev and templates where possible.
  • Account and creative leads work in the same building, which keeps feedback short.

Who we are

RealRain is a vendor to businesses, platforms, and rights holders. We are not a crowdsourced marketplace; the people cutting your picture work for the company. When we bring in freelancers, it is scoped per project and disclosed in scheduling.

The internal workspace covers asset handoffs and archive. Clients see the outcome as a steady point of contact and fewer “lost file” threads.

Three parts

Revenue today is project fees: a statement of work, milestones, and final masters in the formats you name in the contract. The buckets below are how we describe ourselves on a first call.

Internal workspace

Not sold separately. It exists so production, art, and finishing can share the same current build, and so we can reopen a job six months later without reconstructing folders from chat logs.

In-house crew

Directors, art leads, and finishing staff are employees. You brief the people who will actually cut the next version, not a rotating account manager who has never opened the project file.

Derivative & bespoke work

Character shorts, anniversary films, patch trailers, event openers, collab spots—anything that starts from approved IP assets. Rights and usage follow your license; we stay inside what counsel clears.

What clients ask for most often

The list is indicative. If your brief is close but not exact, send a short note—we answer with availability, not a generic auto-reply.

Anime / game IP spin-off films Character PVs, tribute cuts Patch and seasonal promos Tourism / city IP anime packaging Brand collabs, mascot shorts Platform serials or sponsored slots Game cinematics, vertical edits Live events, concerts, booths Theatrical promo, ACG-focused edits Merch key art, still extensions

Leadership

Founders combine engineering, production, and business backgrounds. For new inquiries, the first reply usually comes from whoever owns that discipline for the studio, not from a generic inbox.
